Miguel Grau Gómez
Cabo Pulmo Coordinator
Miguel Grau is originally from Barcelona, Spain. His passion for the ocean began on the Mediterranean coasts, where he learned to sail and scuba dive from an early age. After he finished high school, he had to start working, not without leaving his passion for the ocean. Ten years later he decided to leave everything in order to dedicate his life to this passion. He studied Marine Science at the University of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria and arrived in Mexico in February 2017 as an interchange student at the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur to do his bachelors practices and final research project. Miguel is currently working in Pelagios Kakunjá as Coordinator of the Cabo Pulmo National Park shark monitoring project.
