Passionate about the sea and the ocean, Marine spent her childhood in the southwest of France, enjoying the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean and discovering the animals that live in this marvelous ecosystem. This fascination gave birth to her interest to study the sea, its animals, and their conservation. During her undergraduate studies in Marine Biology she was devoted to the identification of tropical marine species that migrate to the south of France as a result of climate change. She completed her Master’s in Marine Biology at the Instituto Europeo del Mar en Brest (Noroeste de Francia) and conducted a five month study in Pelagios Kakunjá studying the vertical and horizontal migrations of thresher sharks (Alopias pelagicus) in the Eastern Tropical Pacific.
