Karina Busto Ibarra

Karina has a Ph.D. in history from El Colegio de Mexico, and has dedicated her studies to maritime history, in particular, the ports of the Gulf of California and the Mexican Pacific during the nineteenth century. In the last 15 years she has participated in various projects with sharks alongside Dr. James Ketchum, sharing the love for the sea and nature. She manages the Administration and Communications departments at Pelagios Kakunjá.
