Alumni
Originally from Mexico City, since an early age he was fascinated by animals, especially sharks. With this in mind he moved to La Paz in 2013 to begin his studies of Marine Biologist at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur. Shortly after, he became part of Pelagios Kakunjá, where he has collaborated with terrestrial censuses of sharks in Cabo Pulmo. In 2019 he obtained his bachelor degree with a thesis about pelagic sharks in Los Cabos, where he studied the relative abundance of different species, their relation to oceanographic variables, as well as their behavior.
