Fernanda Raygoza Díaz

Fernanda is passionate about zoology and natural sciences. She studied marine biology at the Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur and has had the opportunity to learn and participate in courses, monitoring and laboratory activities related to the biology and ecology of sharks, rays and bony fishes. She joined Pelagios Kakunjá with the purpose of learning and studying the seven-gills shark (Notorynchus cepedianus). She is currently working on her bachelor thesis with batoid reproduction and participating with Pelagios Kakunjá in marine conservation projects in the eastern tropical Pacific in collaboration with MigraMar.
