Dr. Peter Klimley

Dr. Klimley is considered one of the pioneers in the study of the behavior of sharks in their environment and is recognized as one of the leading experts in great white sharks and scalloped hammerheads. He works in the Department of Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology at the University of California Davis. He has published 71 articles and two books about the behavior and ecology of sharks. Peter has participated in multiple documentaries about sharks and now is writing a book titled “The Biology of Sharks, Rays, and Chimeras” for his next publication.
