Since childhood, she has been curious to discover more about marine life. At 13, she began to scuba dive and then she knew she wanted to study marine biology and do something for the conservation of our oceans. Claudia is a shark lover and begun as a volunteer with Pelagios Kakunjá working on land censuses for coastal sharks with the shark monitoring program in Cabo Pulmo National Park. She finished her Marine Biology degree at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur and is carried out her Bahcelor’s research project with Dr. Mauricio Hoyos about white sharks in Guadalupe Island.
